I love the potato man character on these chips from the Japanese market.

I love the packaging for this Japanese green tea candy.

Get yer money, right here!

If you ever lived in Illinois, they may have your money. I had some unclaimed property going back to 1993. I was able to get all of it back in about 2 months. It is totally worth taking a look. Just go to the Illinois treasurer website (www.treasurer.il.gov) and click on their Cash Dash program. They make it very easy to search online. You can even search for other peoples’ stuff :) Who knows, maybe you never received that million dollar check and it is just waiting for you there…

A History of the World in 100 Objects

This BBC series is one of my favorite podcasts of all time. If you are a history buff or even just someone who enjoys going to historical museums, then you will love this podcast. It covers the entire history of man by focusing on the objects that we make. It does a fairly good job of covering the history of the entire world without being too focused on the western world. Absolutely fascinating. I can’t recommend it enough. Subscribe to it now!
